The Daniel Defense MK18 is a short-barreled rifle (SBR) chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO, engineered for close-quarters battle (CQB) scenarios. Its compact design and superior performance have made it a preferred choice among military, law enforcement, and civilian users.
Key Features:
Barrel: The MK18 is equipped with a 10.3-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, crafted from chrome moly vanadium steel with a 1:7 twist rate. This configuration ensures durability and accuracy in demanding conditions.
Handguard: It features the Daniel Defense RIS II rail system, a quad-rail handguard that provides ample space for mounting accessories. This rail system is currently supplied to USSOCOM and has been rigorously tested for field use.
Upper and Lower Receivers: Both receivers are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hard coat anodizing, offering enhanced strength and corrosion resistance.
Muzzle Device: The rifle comes standard with a Daniel Defense flash suppressor made from 17-4 PH stainless steel, finished with salt bath nitride for increased durability.
Stock and Grip: It includes the Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip, both constructed from glass-filled polymer with soft-touch overmolding for improved ergonomics and control.
